one of my favorite parts of opm is that i can look at the cosmic abomination that seeks to end humanity, calls himself god and should logically be a final boss with the same expression you look at a deer about to be ran over by a car. all of his efforts made futile by some guy whose method of coping with depression is to stomp on his plans, not even knowing he is doing it.

(i wonder if god does know saitama could beat cosmic fear garou. i mean, time travel was gained because of him, right?)

i feel like its gonna end in saitama killing him in a single attack but it would be extremely funny (to me) if god eventually realizes he cant do shit and forfeits. maybe he and saitama talk it through, maybe he just goes to cry on the moon. blast&friends are just shocked he is giving up.

Wouldn't work either: who do you think was Genos's special interest before Saitama came into the picture?

He notices, and remarks on, any changes in the old man's routine. How he looks. What mood he's in. Genos notices these things, and we've seen how heavily it weighs on him if he feels he's upset the old man. Not to mention, what the old man actually has to say about things.

Genos will smell a rat for sure. And unlike Garou, whose instinct on seeing something he doesn't like is to come up and slap it, his is to step the hell back and keep it at burning length.
